Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. While we understand that emergencies and other expected situations do arise, MedCare requests you provide our office with 24-hours notice in the event that you are unable to make an appointment and need to reschedule.
A missed appointment without notifying our office (no show) or cancellation on the same day of your appointment will result in:
This late cancellation fee will be charged to the patient, not their insurance company.
Missed appointments due to unforeseen emergency situations, such as medical emergencies or illness, may be considered an exception to the policy and will be at the discretion of the business manager on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the business manager directly to discuss exceptions.
This cancellation policy ensures MedCare can remain consistent with its purpose and promise to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to each of our patients and allows us the opportunity to provide care to another patient.
Please contact our office directly to cancel or reschedule an appointment. You can also cancel or reschedule appointments through your Piedmont MyChart account.
Don’t have a Piedmont MyChart account? It’s fast and easy, with no activation code required and gives you easy access to your healthcare information anytime you need it.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your selected registration time, as arriving late may delay your priority status. If you arrive 10 minute late for your scheduled appointment, we will make every effort to accommodate you, but may need to reschedule.
